We get that it’s important to know more about the people you work with, so here’s some information about our senior leadership team, and their experience.
“My background is varied and I believe that is one of my biggest strengths. At the age of 17, I joined the British Army (Royal Engineers), where I learned a broad range of key skills and effectively had my character built, shaped and developed. I served primarily in Germany, with a tour touching 7 months in Afghanistan. In all I spent over 5 years in the forces. Immediately upon leaving, I attended college and university, where I undertook my degree in International Business at Nottingham Trent University. The international element particularly interested me as I was all too aware that business is conducted on the global stage and what happens overseas influences almost every business. While at university, I was lucky enough to undertake a number of internships with FTSE100 companies, including a marketing internship at Experian. This ignited my passion for marketing and essentially kickstarted my career. From then on, I couldn’t stop building websites and doing any freelance work I could!
Fast forward to my first ‘proper’ marketing roles for a medical device manufacturer and material handling equipment specialist, before long I was working for a number of shareholders’ businesses. When the gentle nudge came from my business partners to quit the ‘day job’ and start up Market Boosters, I couldn’t possibly turn them down and haven’t looked back since.
We’ve been in business around a year now and have gone from strength to strength, growing with our clients which is just so rewarding.”
Hobbies: Rugby (up the Hitchin Hedgehogs!), travel, food, beer, reading
James’ CV (though he hasn’t used it for a number of years now) reads:
“A dynamic, results-orientated MD with careering success in creating a corporate vision and then developing and implementing strategies and action plans that align with the vision. An insightful, innovative, pragmatic change agent who consistently challenges the status quo and leads teams to exceptional results. Passionate about establishing a culture of continuous quality improvement to increase efficiency, drive growth and enhance profitability.”
We think that sums him up nicely, though we’d like to add that he’s a bit of a perfectionist…
